Google has been working on its latest operating system, Android 14, for a long time. Earlier this month, OnePlus announced that the company would release Android 14 for the OnePlus 11 on September 25. While it seems not possible because Google hasn’t released the stable version of the operating system, OnePlus now released the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 for the OnePlus 11 in India and North America. Here are the details about the OnePlus 11 Open Beta update…

OnePlus 11 receives OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 with new features

Although Google is expected to introduce Android 14 on October 4 at the Pixel 8 series launch, OnePlus claimed that the brand would release Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 on September 25. The phone manufacturer has released the open beta version of the upcoming operating system for OnePlus 11 in India and North America.

If you are in India, you can now update your OnePlus 11, which is running firmware with version CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0.591(EX01), to the Android 14-based Open Beta 1 with new improvements. The company brings open beta to North American devices with firmware CPH2451_13.1.0.590(EX01).

Your device must also have at least 4GB of free storage and 30% battery for the installation of OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1. OnePlus has 5,000 slots for beta testers and is already accepting applications.
